Female Aussie pilot for Emirates lifts lid on career: From perks to parenting and ‘judgement’ she’s faced

Flying hundreds of passengers in the world’s largest aircraft is all in a day’s work for Emily Sidoti.

The 37-year-old is the first Australian female pilot to captain an A380 fleet for Emirates.

“Duties can start anytime around the clock and my flight can take you in any direction of the globe, subject to time zones and rest requirements,” Emily tells 7Life.
